Any smartphone has tracking and listening functions by default. This is how social networks later advertise to you those products that you talked about or searched for on the Internet. In particular, Google has such settings.

The itech technical publication explains how to disable tracking features.

How to turn off tracking on your phone

Open Settings and go to Google. Then tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Usage & Diagnostics. Turn on Activity Tracking. This way, Google won’t send you information about your phone usage.

In Settings, go to Language & Input. Select the keyboard you are using. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Settings again.

Here, uncheck the “Send statistics”, “Personalize for you” and “Improve for everyone” checkboxes. This will stop Google Keyboard from sending you information about what you type.

In the same Language and Input section, select Text to Speech. Click the three dots in the top right corner again and select Settings.

Now turn off the “Anonymous Text-to-Language Report” switch. This will prevent Google from sending information about your language to the microphone.

Once all these steps are completed, reboot your phone to launch the new settings. Please note that this instruction is only valid for Android phones.
