Effective tips that will help you delay spring cleaning as much as possible and free up time for relaxation.

How nice and cozy it is in the house when everything is tidy and every thing is in its place. You always want this to last as long as possible. But in practice, everything is quite the opposite, especially when a large family lives in the house and there are pets. You have to clean, wipe and clean often and for a long time. And dust always appears from somewhere on the furniture, greasy deposits in the kitchen and limescale deposits in the bathroom. However, there are several effective methods that will help keep your home clean for a long time.

Change all rags to disposable ones and buy microfiber

If you are still using a constantly wet and dirty table cloth, then you should throw it away immediately. And buy a pack of disposable cheap tissue napkins. This way, you can quickly replace them after use, and you won’t have to constantly wash a dirty, smelly rag. And the household must have microfiber; it is universal for cleaning, inexpensive, and can be used for quite a long time.

For dust, use fabric softener

When cleaning, pour a little conditioner into a bowl of water and wipe off the dust with the resulting solution. The product will work as an antistatic agent and repel dust from surfaces, so they will stay clean longer. And thanks to the air conditioner, a pleasant aroma will remain in the house after cleaning.

Treat glass surfaces with a water-repellent spray

To ensure that there are no water stains on the glass, a water-repellent spray will help. This will especially help in the bathroom, so that water does not leave streaks on the shower stall. It is enough to spray the surface and the water will simply flow down the glass without leaving dirty white marks.

Have a few storage boxes

Find a place for all small items so they don’t end up lying around the house. After all, it is because of them that when cleaning you have to spend time arranging and putting everything in its place. Therefore, it is worth putting all the trinkets in boxes and putting them somewhere where you can take them out when necessary.

Don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight

It’s better to wash the dishes right after dinner, because you may not have time to do it in the morning. And in the evening you will have to wash twice as many dirty dishes. If you have a dishwasher, all you have to do is scrape off any leftover food from your plates and put them in the dishwasher.

Get rid of unnecessary surfaces

To do this, inspect your home to see if you have any excess furniture and things that should be thrown away. It could be an old sofa or bedside table, a cage from a pet that has been gone for a long time, a chair with springs sticking out of it. Usually, such unnecessary items accumulate a pile of other things that you never get around to putting away. So when you get rid of old unnecessary furniture and other items, landfills will also disappear on their own.

Always put things in their place

Don’t leave the room until everything is in its place. If a book or blanket is not there, and things are folded on a chair or armchair, everything must be removed. If you don’t immediately put things in their places, after two or three days you will have to do general cleaning again, and it will take you not five minutes, but half a day.

Get rid of unnecessary things regularly

If you do not use any items for several months or a year, then you should get rid of them. Because they take up the lion’s share of your time during cleaning. Why waste precious hours grinding unnecessary china or a souvenir that was given a hundred years ago. Go through things in the wardrobe, on the mezzanine and balcony. There will probably be a lot of unnecessary rubbish there that should have been thrown into the trash long ago.
