How to cook pumpkin porridge with rice in milk

Ingredients:

  • pumpkin pulp – 800 g,
  • water – 150 ml,
  • milk -350 ml
  • rice – 100 g
  • butter – 80 g,
  • sugar – 80 g,
  • salt – to taste.

Preparation:

  1. Peel and seed the pumpkin and cut into cubes.
  2. Pour into a saucepan, fill the pumpkin with water and place on medium heat.
  3. Cook for 10 minutes, then pour milk into the pumpkin and bring to a boil.
  4. Add salt and sugar.
  5. Place the rinsed rice into the pan with the pumpkin. Don’t mix.
  6. Cover the porridge with a lid and cook for 30 minutes over low heat until the rice is cooked.
  7. Add butter to the porridge and lightly crush.

If the porridge is too thick, you can dilute it with milk.
