Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams of champignons
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium sized onion
  • 1/2 red bell pepper

For the marinade:

  • 1 liter of water
  • bay leaf – 1 piece
  • black peppercorns – 5 grains
  • dried marjoram
  • table vinegar 9% – 80 ml
  • salt – 1.5 tsp. and sugar – 1 tbsp. spoons
  • 1 tbsp. spoon of olive oil

Preparation:

  1. The champignons need to be cleaned and wiped with a damp cloth. Then boil quickly (about 5 minutes) in salted water. Place the boiled mushrooms in a colander.
  2. Prepare the marinade. To do this, bring one liter of water to a boil along with bay leaf, black pepper and marjoram. Cook for literally 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat. Add vinegar and olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Place the champignons in a deep ceramic bowl, sprinkle diced red pepper, chopped onion and garlic on top. Pour in the hot marinade, close the lid and leave. As soon as they cool down, put them in the refrigerator. In 12 hours the mushrooms will be ready.
