Ingredients:

For the salad

  • beets – 300 g;
  • chicken fillet – 250 g;
  • walnuts – 60 g;
  • eggs – 3 pcs;
  • potatoes – 2 pcs;
  • carrots – 1 piece;
  • mayonnaise – 100 g.

For decoration

Preparation

  1. Season the chicken fillet with salt and pepper and bake in foil at 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Then unfold the foil and let the chicken brown until crisp. Cut the finished meat into small pieces.
  2. Boil carrots, beets and potatoes in their skins and peel the vegetables when they have cooled. Grate the peeled vegetables on a coarse grater, each separately.
  3. Boil the eggs hard. Grate the peeled eggs on a coarse grater.
  4. Place a tall glass in the middle of the dish on which you plan to serve the salad. Form a ring of chicken around the glass. Apply a layer of mayonnaise on top; it is convenient to use a pastry bag for this.
  5. Add grated carrots and grated potatoes. Spread each layer with mayonnaise. Sprinkle with half the walnuts.
  6. Add half the beets, then the remaining walnuts. Next add the eggs. Spread mayonnaise on each layer. Place the remaining beets on top of the eggs.
  7. Separate the pomegranate into grains. Distribute them evenly over the surface of the salad, pressing them lightly with your hands.
  8. Place the salad in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Don’t forget to remove the glass before serving.
