Mulled wine is a winter alcoholic hot drink that consists of wine heated to 70-80°C, sugar and spices. Many people do not know how to make mulled wine at home, and buy semi-finished products in bags in stores. The recipe for mulled wine at home is no different from the restaurant one, except that you choose your own wine and other ingredients. Cook Alexey Medvedev told how to prepare this aromatic drink, reports Art-Lunch.

Usually, inexpensive dry or semi-dry red wine is used for mulled wine, but you shouldn’t take very cheap wines either. Also, when preparing mulled wine, you need to use whole spices, not ground ones, as ground ones make the drink cloudy.
