Why the pie was not baked: what could be the reasons?

Most often, the reason lies in the wrong oven temperature and insufficient baking time. Many people immediately start baking the cake at high temperatures (220 degrees), but it’s better not to do that. It is better to first set the temperature lower (about 160 degrees) and bake the cake at this temperature for about half an hour. After this, be sure to check the baked goods for doneness using a toothpick, match, or wooden skewer. If the dough is ready, it will not stick to the surface. Now you can increase the temperature and brown the outside of the pie.

Another reason why the inside of the pie remains raw is that the recipe does not match. If a person was in a hurry, he could under-report or translate some ingredients, or forget to add something.

Sometimes the cake may not bake inside due to the oven if it is not working as it should. Therefore, you must always take into account the “features” of yours to ensure that your baking is a success. You should also not place the cake immediately on the highest shelf in the oven. It’s better to put it on the bottom first so that the dough rises better and bakes right away. After some time, the baked goods can be lifted onto the middle or highest baking rack.

If the baked goods are still not baked well and remain raw inside, do not worry. The pie can still be saved. First, reduce the oven temperature (to about 160 degrees), then cover the top of the baked goods with foil or parchment paper, which can withstand high temperatures.

There is another option. If the pie inside is still damp, reduce the temperature in the oven and place a container (for example, a frying pan) with water on the bottom shelf. The top of the pie can be additionally greased with milk. Bake the pastries for another 10 -15 minutes. Thanks to the steam, it will bake much better.
