Holiday table hit: recipe for a quick snack with cheese, fish and cucumber (video)

On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays, the number of searches for delicious snacks increases significantly, and housewives are already beginning to collect their favorite ideas in order to please their guests and family with something new and original. We offer you a recipe for a quick snack with cucumber and fish that won’t stay on the table for long. It was shared by culinary blogger Christina Azizyan.

A quick snack for the holiday table

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 3-4 pcs;
  • long cucumber – 1 piece;
  • lightly salted red fish – 200 g;
  • curd cheese – 200-250 g;
  • dill and black sesame for decoration (optional).

Cooking method:

  1. Beat each egg with a pinch of salt, pour evenly into a slightly heated frying pan and fry over medium heat on both sides.
  2. Using a vegetable peeler, cut the cucumber into thin slices (or you can simply grate them), place on paper towels and pat dry. Cut lightly salted fish into thin pieces.
  3. Grease each egg pancake with curd cheese. If you want the roll to be plump, then do not skimp on the cheese and spread it with a thicker layer.
  4. Then, one by one, in rows, carefully place pieces of fish and cucumbers on top of the cheese, as in the video. Roll the pancake into a roll and cut it diagonally into pieces. To help them keep their shape better, you can pierce each one with skewers or toothpicks.
  5. If desired, the appetizer can be decorated with black sesame seeds, a sprig of dill, and a little red caviar can be added on top.
