Delicious homemade baked goods: Black Prince cake recipe

Photo: from open sources

A cake with a romantic name is considered a classic dessert.

The Black Prince cake clearly did not get its name in honor of the son of the English king Edward III, who lived in the 14th century and bore this nickname because of the color of his armor.

These are baked goods with chocolate cakes and white cream, so the name stuck, perhaps, precisely because of the cocoa in the cakes. But although this recipe is more festive, it’s easy to prepare a delicious cake. The main thing is to follow the recipe. It was shared on the Kolizhanka website.

  6. After eight hours, cut the base of the cake into 2-3 layers with a sharp knife.
  7. And prepare the cream. Beat sour cream with a mixer with cream, powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
  8. Spread the cakes with cream, and then put the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
  9. Apply cream to the sides and place in the refrigerator again for at least an hour.
  10. Grate the dark chocolate on a fine grater. Grind the dried top of the cake in a blender and mix the crumbs with chocolate. Sprinkle the resulting crumbs over the top and sides of the cake. But if you want, you can skip this step. You can also decorate the cake with cocktail cherries.
