Delicious beef for the holiday table: recipe from a culinary expert (video)

To prepare this dish, you need to take only beef, not veal, and it is advisable that it has a little fat.

An expert in fast and tasty food, ambassador of the Jamie Oliver project in Ukraine, Daria Doroshkevich, shared with her followers on Instagram a proven recipe for delicious beef baked in one piece. This dish is ideal for the New Year’s menu. The author notes that the main thing in this recipe is the right meat. It is necessary to take beef, not veal. Only the part with fat is suitable for baking.

Whole baked beef

Ingredients:

  • beef – 1 kg.

For the marinade:

  • extra virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp. l;
  • refined olive oil – 1 tbsp. l;
  • fresh grated garlic – 1 tbsp. l;
  • rosemary – 1-2 sprigs or 1 tbsp. l. dried;
  • mustard – 1 tbsp. l;
  • dried marjoram – 1 tbsp. l;
  • mustard – 1 tbsp. l;
  • salt – 1 tsp.

Cooking method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, rub it on the beef and leave for at least two hours, or even better, for a day.
  2. Next, place the meat either in a cast-iron pot or in a roasting bag. Add 200 ml of any broth or red wine to the meat. You need to bake the meat for two hours at a temperature of 140 degrees. Then open the pot or sleeve and bake for another 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. Before serving, the meat must be cooled and cut into thin slices. Pour the heated liquid left over from baking on top.
