Chicken liver with onions and carrots in tomato-sour cream sauce turns out tender and juicy.
Chicken liver goulash is prepared quite quickly in a frying pan. Chicken liver with onions and carrots in tomato-sour cream sauce turns out tender and juicy. Almost any side dish will go with this dish: mashed potatoes, pasta or boiled rice.
Recipe
Ingredients:
- chicken liver 300 g
- onions 1 pc.
- carrots 1 pc.
- tomato paste 1 tbsp. l.
- sour cream 2 tbsp. l.
- wheat flour 1 tbsp. l.
- warm water 300 ml
- vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
- ground black pepper
- salt
Preparation:
- Clean the liver from films and ducts. Wash and cut into pieces.
- Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until transparent. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and fry along with the onion for a couple of minutes.
- Dip the liver in flour and add it to the fried vegetables, fry for another three minutes.
- In a bowl, combine tomato paste, sour cream, water, salt and pepper. Stir.
- Pour into the pan with the liver and vegetables. Stir. Simmer under a closed lid for 6-8 minutes over medium heat.
When frying vegetables, you can add 2 cloves of garlic.
