Cucumbers in any form – fresh, salted, pickled – are a popular snack on any table. They go well with fried potatoes and are equally successful on the holiday table. We recommend that you prepare a very original appetizer called “Broken Cucumbers.” It is very easy to prepare and very easy to eat. The recipe for this snack was shared on the culinary blog “Recipes Every Day”.

Broken cucumbers

Ingredients:

  • fresh cucumbers – 500 gr;
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • chili – to taste;
  • rice vinegar – 2 tbsp. l;
  • soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l;
  • sugar – 2 tsp;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l;
  • salt – to taste;
  • sesame – 2 tsp;
  • cilantro – a bunch.

Cooking method:

  1. Wash the cucumbers and cut them in half lengthwise. Using a wooden rolling pin, beat the cucumbers well so that they crack: thanks to the cracks formed, the marinade will instantly penetrate into the vegetables.
  2. Next, the cucumbers need to be cut diagonally into pieces and transferred to a salad bowl. Add salt, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce to the cucumbers, mix. Let the cucumbers stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Finely chop the garlic, cilantro and hot pepper. Place them in a salad bowl with cucumbers, add sesame seeds, stir, season with vegetable oil.

An incredibly delicious snack is ready!
