Baked vegetables with cheese: simple, quick and very tasty

This is a very simple dish that does not take much time or effort to prepare.

Baked vegetables with cheese are an absolute culinary classic. You can use any cheese and even your favorite vegetables and spices, but today we offer you a recipe with eggplants.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • eggplants – 2 pcs.
  • tomatoes – 6 pcs.
  • hard cheese – 150 g
  • basil
  • vegetable oil
  • ground black pepper
  • tarragon
  • salt

Preparation:

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly and cut into slices.
  2. Place the eggplants in a separate bowl, add salt and let stand for a little (5-7 minutes). This is necessary so that excess bitterness comes out of them. Once the time has passed, simply drain off the juice that forms in the bowl.
  3. Grate your favorite cheese.
  4. Grease a baking tray or other heat-resistant baking dish with oil. Place a layer of eggplant on them and sprinkle with cheese. Place a layer of tomatoes on top and sprinkle with cheese again.
  5. Salt the vegetables, sprinkle with spices and place basil sprigs on top.
  6. Bake vegetables with cheese in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
