Baked fish with potatoes: a recipe for an easy and very tasty dinner

Baked fish and potatoes

Ingredients:

  • mackerel (or other fish with a minimum of bones);
  • potatoes – 4–5 pcs;
  • onion – 1 piece;
  • carrots – 1–2 pcs;
  • dry rosemary;
  • dill – sprig;
  • vegetable oil;
  • butter – 20 g;
  • water – about 50 ml;
  • salt and pepper – to taste.

Cooking method:

  1. Wash, peel, cut into thin slices, pepper, add dry rosemary, sprinkle with vegetable oil and stir so that the spices are evenly distributed.
  2. Wash the fish well, rub it with salt, pepper, rosemary and oil, and place on the potatoes. Inside the belly of the fish you need to put an onion cut into half rings and a sprig of dill.
  3. Next, you need to peel the carrots, cut them into rings or cubes and place them in the mold with the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Place pieces of butter on the potatoes and add about 50 ml of water.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the potatoes and fish for 40–50 minutes.
