In pursuit of an ideal figure, people exhaust themselves in the gym and severely limit the consumption of many foods. And when they don’t quickly achieve the desired effect, they get disappointed and give up everything. But in fact, the “weight loss formula” is not only about sports and dietary restrictions.

RBC-Ukraine talks about what rules to follow in order to lose weight, with reference to the publication of nutritionist Anastasia Goloborodko on Telegram.

What “weight loss formula” should you follow?

The “weight loss formula” is not only about calorie restriction and increased physical activity. Let me give my opinion over all these years,” says the expert.

A nutritionist explains what things to consider when you’re trying to lose weight:

  • food quality and nutritional value – crackers and white rice won’t do any good
  • meal schedule – start doing it at the same time. Whether you eat 2, 3 or 4 times is not so important, the main thing is rhythm
  • sleep – you need to fall asleep at the same time and not go to bed after midnight. Must have at least 8 hours of sleep. There is a rule: “I sleep, I lose weight.” It is advisable to take a walk before going to bed
  • morning walks – after you wake up, go outside and walk for at least 10-30 minutes
  • meditation, mentoring, psychotherapy, quality rest – don’t overload your brain, it can do it without you. If you can’t cope with anxiety, get help
  • Walking after meals – such activity lowers blood sugar. Cinnamon, berberine, alpha-lipolyic acid, chromium, chitosan also do this. However, you should not use dietary supplements
  • anaerobic exercise. You don’t need to do a lot of them, but you need to bring them to the pulse zone where it will be difficult for you to talk. And in general, you can’t do without strength training – such exercises should be two to three times a week
  • regular health check. A person needs to know what his indicators are in order to effectively work on his body. A complete check-up of the body should be done at least once a year.

Goloborodko adds that the weight loss formula is not “steamed broccoli and steamed cod” and grueling workouts in the gym, in fact, it is a whole set of measures that should become part of life.
